Am I ok or do I need to lose a couple of pounds for this school year?

I am 15 years old, 5' 5'' tall, and I weigh 120 or 121. Is my weight ok or do I need to lose a couple pounds? I want to play softball this school year and I want to be in shape for that and I want to look good...

don't worry, to any sane person that sounds like an ideal and healthy weight for your height! if you want to get in shape just try working out, or maybe pilates or yoga if you want a stronger core, because working out will make you gain weight because you'll gain muscle mass. but you should try to be content with your weight you definetly don't need to lose any.

Am I normal?

im 14 and 7 months, if that really matters.im 137.7lbs , 5ft 3in and i have 36in waste, am I at a normal weight for a 14 year old?and with that being said, my mom said i would grow and become skinnier looking is that true?(i know this is rediculous question and life is WAY too short to be carried up in the mess...but like i said im kinda worried in a way that i like to like myself. not that i wouldnt like to be my friends size, im not afraid to admitt that in some situations i care what i myself and others think about my outward apperance. call me fake, call me a 'hollister barbie' i dont care and why im going on a random rant i have no clue answer please and ignore my random ranting.)XOXO -ALEx Shiften

if you maintain your current excercise/eating habits, you'll maintain your weight in proportion to your height
when you start growing, try to excercise and eat healthier and you will be SOOO much thinner :)
I'm not stupid enough to think that "It only matter's what is on the inside" because we all know that it's not. It's a silly question because you can not possibly walk around comparing yourself to other people. And that *is* true.You are totally unique, inside and out. You could be naturally blessed with being on the skinnier side, you could grow up and gain 100lbs, I'm sure you catch my drift. Don't worry about what your friends look like. Simply ask yourself if you feel happy, healthy, and beautiful.
the bottom line is you will grow into your body a bit more...just be healthy and be happy with yourself. you can tell if you are making bad choices in meals...so make good ones. Exercise a bit you will feel good about yourself no matter if you are underweight or overweight.

I'm 15, gonna be 16 in December...i weigh 133...is that too fat for my weight or what? and can you loose water Lbs by walking for like 10 min's ? 'cause i think that happened to me.

it all depends on your height to weight ratio, 133 for a 16 year old doesn't sound bad at all, just stay active. water weight is important. you should not worry about trying to cut water it is something your body needs to hold on to. stop worrying about your weight and start to have fun, you are really young and you will regret wasting your time at such a young age worrying about weight instead of having fun.

losing water weight is not always good, we need water because we are water. When is the last time you went to the doctor? He would have told you if you were under or over weight. Also, you didn't say how tall you were
i dont think so. go to a site that calculates your bmi which will tell you if you are overweight or not...
depending on your height your probably not fat. i dont know any 16 year old that could ever be short enough for 130 to be fat.

You shouldn't completely worry about your weight until you're fully matured...your body still has a lot of changes to go through. Just makes sure you eat right and exercise properly. Don't smoke and say 'no' to drugs. :)

How often do you work out and are you doing strength training or muscular endurance? easy way to tell how many repititions do you do if its 6-12 thats strength training and thats where your muscles will grow and you will get bigger and bulk up but if your doing like 12 - 25 reps thats endurance and you will only get bigger to an extent and you will only tone yourself..

Am I man anorexic?

For about the past year my weight has really troubled me after being called fat by people.including my sister and my nan. Im 15, 5'11.1.have stopped growing and weigh 62kg I feel so large and fat but friends always tell me im really skinny. my tendons and arteries on my oposite side of elbows have began sickly sticking out but i still feel fat.
I have lost interest in socialising with friends.
Recently i've started eating 850ish cals a day and i feel like a mad person with no control. if i eat something i do enjoy it.. but then i feel bad.depressed and sometimes lightly self harm to relieve pain.
this is not like me.but i feel like i need help because weight/calories and health is ALWAYS on my mind. i dont go 5 minutes without thinking about it. I would like to get down to 8.5 stone.
my mum has started picking things up and moaning at me about it. i just don't know what to do and i cant go to doctors otherwise they'll make me gain weight.

Oh louie, louie, louie.. you must want to eat again- even doctors can't make you do that. very soon your organs and other parts of the body will be affected. I myself was anorexic at one point, but my mom showed so much concern and she was very persistent in wanting to help me want to eat again... I eventually started eating again to make her happy. She saved my life. A friend of mine wasn't that lucky. When she finally gained weight again- her body showed so much illnesses resulting from the extreme anorexia she suffered from... the last thing I heard about her was that she passed away. It's time for you to obsess about eating healthy- not about not to eat.
Sounds like you may want to get help. 850 calories per day is dangerously low. Im glad someone else weighs themselves in stones. If you cant go 5 minutes without thinking about it, give in and get help.
This does have many of the symptoms of anorexia. You should probably go get help, as getting down to 850 calories a day is dangerous. As for your concerns, the doctors may make you gain weight, but they will keep you at a healthy weight, they won't make you overweight. Also, they will teach you healthier ways to keep off weight.
Tell yourself that anorexia is dangerous, and can be DEADLY. Did you know you actually gain wait by not eating? No, I didn't make that up. Just eat three meals a day. If you're really worried about getting fat, eat things like salad and chicken and tuna, proteins and vitamins and vegetables. As long as you eat healthy, you'll be thin! Drink things like milk and juice to build strong bones and other good things. (: I did a paper on anorexia, and it can cause a lot of damage. So keep in mind that by not eating what you really need, you're just making your fear reality. SO EAT!
You're pretty skinny so I don't know why anyone would call you fat.
But anyway just eat healthy food all the time and don't feel bad about how much you eat. In my opinion you need to gain a little weight. Forget the counting calories nonsense. Find a picture of someone you want to look like, and then take a picture of yourself and compare.
Work toward looking like that other guy.

Am i losing weight right is not plz give me some advice?

im eating 1650 calories a day or less and walking/jogging 2 miles 3 times a day. im i doing this right if not plz give me some tips and how can i increase my metabolism thank you

I dont know your height and size, but I think you should cut calories more to like 1200 calories about. Balanced meals every few hours. Dont do 3x a day, do more like 4-5x a week for 45min - 1 hour. If you do as much as your doing, your burning muscle, and you dont want to burn muscle. I think you should increase the intensity too and also I think you should lift weights.
