Answer:
Aha.
You've just discovered something totally...well it's something.
We can't tell whether you're overweight or not due to us not knowing your muscle mass.
And you gain weight when you exercise because you are gaining muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat. Muscle is a good thing.
Yeah, I'd say about 115-120. I was 5'11" and weighed about 140-145 at one point.
Well some of the times you probably want to know ur fat% verus ur muscle% because muscle will weigh more then fat so you mite have gained muscle wieght...its not all about the scale its about how fit you are and about you feel about yourself! =)

Am I overweight or fat?
I am 12 years old and weigh 92lbs. and I am 5' please tell me your opinion TELL THE TRUTH AND PLEASE ANSWER!!
Answer:
Your bmi is 18 and youre in the 34th percentile for your age. Don't worry-- you're actually really skinny!
I don't think so. I'm 12 5'1 and weigh 95 pounds.
no ur actually a lil underweight. some1 of ur height weighs in the high 90's and aronud 100. i weigh about the same amount, im ur same height, although im 15...the doctor jsut tells me im a lil underweight.
overwieght may sound bad but it just means what it says. overweight can be like one pound or two pounds over weight even. you dont sound fat or overweight. ask a health person or something what the average weight for your age and height is supposed to be.
Honestly your weight seems fine for your age and height. Remember you are still growing, so both of these will continue to change. Just eat as healthy as possible and get exercise of some sort and you should not have any problem with your weight. Don't worry too much about your weight, think about your health which is more important
yahoo search BMI calculator and then type in your numbers
No, you're fine
Your BMI is 18.0. At the age of 12, the safe BMI range is 15.5 to 21.5 or so, so you're right in the middle. Definitely not fat, you're just right! Put your concerns about your weight aside and get on with your kidhood!
Nah, your average. Your height balances out your weight. You're actually skinny. ^.^
At 5' 92 lbs. you are at about the 50th percentile for your age. In other words very average.
Ok I'm tired of little skinny girls asking if their fat!! The only reason your asking is because you want ppl to tell you you're skinny! Get over yourself you're only 12 years old!
honey DO NOT WORRY remember ur still a growing girl. i just turned 13 and im alreay 5'6 and 127 pounds which is just like u right in the middle ur def. not fat but not anerexic i think ur a great, spunky, and skinny girl. since now people have told u ur skinny just concentrate on the good stuff about u!
hope this helped:]

honey dont worry i typed in your numbers on a BMI calculater like everyone else and yes you're normal! i'm just like you, i'm 4'10" and 90 pounds (2 inches and pounds less) and until i discovered this calculater thing i thought i was getting really big lol. cause i used to be like 83 pounds last time i weighed myself (which was like a year ago) so dont worry you're perfectly normal!
no your a definitely not overweight or fat!! I'm 13 and weigh 109 so no your not fat at all!! I wished i weighed 92 lbs! So dont try to lose any weight because that's the perfect size! Good luck!! =) -Kasey
No, im 5ft 5 and weight 112lb
no you not the way to find a proper weight for you self is to multiply how many inches you are of five for by 5[in you case 0x5=0] then add to 100 [in your case 100+0=100] so you are not over weight and you might weigh less if you have a small bone structure

Am I overweight if I am 5'4" and 145lbs? I am very muscular though (playing field hockey forever)?
I have been playing field hockey ever since i rememeber but just recently i have put on a ton of weight (45 lbs in two years). I used to be really small - - size two! I just really need to know if there would be an easy way for me to burn off the extra fat and become really really toned again. I was a while back but everything just seems to have gone downhill. Its mainly but inner thighs but now its seems to have moved onto my mid-region and i feel like i cant wear anything!! I NEED HELP!!
Answer:
Your BMI is 24.9, which is in the normal range.
Nope. Just concern yourself with a healthy, balanced diet and regular exercise.
Don't worry about it. Muscle babes are hot.
nope you sound regular just remember to eat healthy
I'm 5'5 and I'd love to be 145 again! If you're uncomfortable with your shape, you know what to do to tone.
You're a girl right? 5'4" and 145 is like a guys build. You sound overweight. Even a muscular girl at 5'4" should be like 125 - 130, maybe even less.
Nah- The average for that height, I think, is like 135 or so? But you have muscle, which weighs more than body fat. You should be good.
Well that's definitely not fat! I'm 5'2" and 135 lbs, and all of my friends are always saying how petite I am. But I went on seventeen.com and checked my BMI (Body Mass Index) and it said that I am overweight! There is no possible way that I am overweight. I'm very self conscious of myself, but even I know that I am not overweight. So whatever you do, don't trust those stupid BMI charts, because I'm still in a size 4 and anyone who's in a size 4 at 15 is not overweight. I don't know how old you are, but you're not overweight. If you want to lose some weight, just only eat three meals a day, healthy ones. Make sure you get in all the different food groups. Drink 6-8 glasses of water a day, and set up an hour or so every day or every other day to work out. You'll see results fast. =] I should probably do that.. I did that once and I got great results, but now that it's summer I'm just sitting at the computer asking and answering questions with no life. Fun =]
Naw, just know that, people are not going to bother you, superwoman, lol
muscle weighs more than fat, that's an athlete's rule, so don't pay so much attention to the number on the scale. i'm a fh player too, and we have big thighs. but, if you're gaining fat, make sure you work out in the off season (play indoor, join the gym) and keep in shape. do 8 minute abs - it's quick and works on abdominal fat (video is on youtube). target the areas youve gained weight. figure out what you did different to gain weight. if you get hungry, make sure you keep the kitchen stocked with your favorite foods that you know are healthy (favorite fruits, etc).
if ur muscular then y are u aasking this question?

Am i over wieght ?
Are you over wieght if you are 4'11,13 year old girl that wieghs 110 pounds?
Answer:
the correct place to seek accurate and informative answer to this question is a medical doctor.don't rely on narrow and warped minds, that have had years of disinformation implanted by the media on what they think is the ideal woman, besides you are a young lady, and still growing, your body needs proper nourishment.ask your family doctor, best advise
no way!! I'm 5'0 and weighed 120 pre pregnancy and i'm the right size on the charts.
Ummmmmm i would think so considering that you are only 4'11. Because im 5'8 and i weigh like 133 or so.
At 4'11 you should be between 99-123LBS so yes your fine.
u could shed about 5-15 lbvs but im around ur age and 5'6 and i weigh 153 and my docter says im fine so u sound like u could lose a little but dont go crazy...and just a heads up not eating slows ur matabalizsm down wich makes u gain weight so dont try tht...good luck!
yes you're obese and super fat
According to this chart, you are at a healthy weight.CLICK HERE: http://apps.nccd.cdc.gov/dnpabmi/result.
Based on your age, height and weight, you are not fat. You have a healthy weight. Check it out yourself.

Answer:
Normalhttp://www.cdc.gov/nccdphp/dnpa/bmi/adul...
Are you male or female??
What is your body type and activity level??
Age??
im not sure check urself http://www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/...
thats about normal. im 5'10 and 145 lbs but im trying to get my weight up to about 180 through a weight lifting program.
my advice to you is don't worry about being "overweight" , rather, ask yourself " am i fit/ healthy"
Check if ur at a healthy weight with an online bmi. I checked for u and it says that ur at a perfect weight! yay you!
No, you are on the high normal weight, your BMI is 23.7 and overweight is 25 so it is good idea to watch what you eat and exercise most days of the week.Diets don't work. To lose weight you need to have a "lifestyle" change, to develop a healthier eating habits such as eating more fruits and vegetables and less fatty/ sugary foods. Make your eating habits permanent to have a healthy life.It is best to exercise for about 30 minutes a day for most days of the week. Weight training with light weights but with some resistance is good to keep your lean body mass.I did those following of the above and it works for me, I lost 50 pounds over the past year and I had been at around 170-175 since.

Am i over weight?
I am 5'2 an weigh 60kg? DO u think i am over weight? What would be the appropriate weight for me and what should i do to get there
Answer:
You are a bit overweight. Your ideal weight falls between 48 kg and 54 kg. You should be within that range. Try meal replacements. It could help you to target your needs.Good luck.
No, you're fine.
Check this web site: http://www.halls.md/ideal-weight/body.ht...
You are not over weight, however it depends on what your fat to muscle ratio is. If theres like 0 muscle there thats not the healthiest for a twig. Shape and toning up is always recommended, but you are at a healthy weight
You should weigh about 105-130 lbs. I think that means you are at the top of your healthy weight range (if my math is correct!) You don't say your age. If you are in your 20's or older you could probably lose a kilo or two, but if you are younger than that, you are just right the way you are. Eat plenty of fresh raw fruits and raw or cooked vegetables, and begin exercising 15-30 minutes each day doing something you really enjoy and look forward to. If a problem exists, that will take care of it. Good luck.
run...keeps you healthy and controls your weight
Well put it this way, I'm 6'2" and weigh 89/90kg. I swim 1km everyday and have some muscle. I don't know what my ratio to fat is but on the 'Weight/Height' charts, I am overweight. Why? because the chart does not know how much muscle you have, and muscle wighs more than fat so it's inaccurate, I would say you are in the right range. To increase muscle, I would do some running or swimming.Good luck.
How many times have I read on this site people using the BMI to calculate the "ideal" weight. The BMI is outdated! It uses your height, and weight and this is grossly inaccurate. What should be used is your body fat %. This way, it'll give a better accuracy of whether you're overweight or not. If the BMI was used for football players, then they would be all considered overweight, which is not true. They have more muscles than the average joe. So go get your body fat % checked. Maybe go to a gym which does it with "body fat calipers", don't go for one's which use a body fat calculator, they are not accurate!
The first step for weight loss is to evaluate your body weight in order to understand if you are overweight and the extent to which you鈥檙e overweight. Once you have done this, you can then proceed to chose a weight loss program that suits your unique weight loss goals and your lifestyle.Read the rest of tips here:
Yes.Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%. Chew each morsel at least 32 times to activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry.
go by ur BMI, body mass index. that helps to where u should maintain ur weight and height at.

Am I over doing it when my body aches?
My abs, shoulders, back, and for some strange reason my pits hurt... from doing pushups sit ups and running...do I try to keep going or cool it a bit?P.S: It hurts alot!
Answer:
its cuz ur muscles have been worked out and havent recovered.which means that u havent taken enough protein and sleep to help them recover back to normal. Ur muscles work out and tear up..u take protein and when u sleep the protein fills up the space between them and heals them. So today, DONT work out cuz ur muscles havent heal yet...and u would damage them if you further exercise/ injure yourself.
How often, and for how long are you exercising? You have to understand that every body is different. You may want to switch to every other day. Or 3 times per week. Generally speaking...Pain is your bodies way of telling you that you are overdoing it. By that I mean real pain. A little burn is good. You have to decide whether or not what you've got is a little burn or pain. Good luck.
How often are you working out?
Maybe a take a break like a day in between the workouts.
You don't want to tear a muscle or anything!
If your really sore you are maybe pushing yourself too hard!
Take a break in there somewhere!
You can e-mail me at paulalongstreet@hotmail.com.
